Ukraine banned the imports and transit of grain and forages from three Federal Districts of Russia - Ministry of Infrastructure
Ukraine banned the imports and transit of forages and grains from the Siberian, North Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts of the Russian Federation, due to extension of the foot-and-mouth disease of farm animals in the reporting regions, declared the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine on August 15, with reference to the Deputy Chief Inspector of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, the carriers will provide imports of other commodities from Russia under the control of the State Service for Veterinary Medicine, in accordance with veterinary requirements concerning the imports of the objects of state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision to Ukraine.
