Agricultural sector may become the driver of cooperation between Ukraine and China – expert
On September 24, Vyacheslav Butko, Vice-President of the Corporate Relations Research Center, said that the agrarian industry is the most perspective one in the sphere of foreign economic cooperation between Ukraine and China.
He noted that in the current year there are many prerequisites for the further increase of trading between the two countries.
It should be noted that during the world food crisis, Ukraine has a very large opportunity of improving of its geopolitical and economic situation at the expense of the unique agricultural conditions. And since China is the country with the largest population, the demand for food is high and will be growing. So, the agrarian sector is the most promising in terms of foreign economic cooperation between Ukraine and China, said the expert.
