Russia reduced the volume of grain exports
According to the monitoring data of APK-Inform Agency, in the period of October 7-13 of 2013 Russia reduced the export volumes of grains by 6.3% compared with the previous week - from the level of 406.1 thsd tonnes to 380.5 thsd tonnes. In particular, in the reporting period the exports of wheat totaled 265.1 thsd tonnes as opposed to 328.1 thsd tonnes in the previous week. As for other grain shipments, we should note that the shipment volumes of barley totaled 94.7 thsd tonnes, maize - 5.4 thsd tonnes, peas - 6.1 thsd tonnes, wheat bran - 3.3 thsd tonnes, maize bran - 5.9 thsd tonnes.
