On October 30, Russia purchased 29.835 thsd tonnes of grains to the intervention fund
On October 30, Russia held the regular stock exchange trading within frames of public grain purchasing interventions, and purchased 29.835 thsd tonnes of grains to the intervention fund (from the general proposed volume of 29.97 thsd tonnes), at the sum of 179.82 mln RUR.
In particular, the fund purchased 21.87 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2013, 2.7 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2013, 2.565 thsd tonnes of 5-grade wheat of the harvest-2013, and 2.7 thsd tonnes of feed barley of the harvest-2013.
The weighted average prices of the grains sold to the intervention fund were as follows:
- 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2013 – 6207.3 RUR/t;
- 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2013 – 5970.2 RUR/t;
- 5-grade wheat of the harvest-2013 – 5672.8 RUR/t;
- feed barley of the harvest-2013 – 4906.8 RUR/t.
Since the beginning of the stock exchange trading (October 15) the intervention fund already purchased 175.23 thsd tonnes of grains at the general sum of 1.051 bln RUR.
It should also be noted that in the following week the grain purchasing interventions will be held on November 6 only, due to the fact that on November 4 there is a national holiday in the Russian Federation.
