Ukraine: as of December 1, grain stocks totaled 27.6 mln tonnes – State Statistics Service
As of December 1, 2013, agricultural enterprises (except of small-scale ones), and grain storage and processing enterprises in Ukraine stocked 27.6 mln tonnes of grains (including 8.2 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.1 mln tonnes of barley, 15.6 mln tonnes of maize, 0.4 mln tonnes of rye), an increase of 29% compared with the same date in 2012, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on December 16.
Directly agrarian companies stored 15.3 mln tonnes of grains (up 43%), including 4.7 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.6 mln tonnes of barley, 7.2 mln tonnes of maize, 0.2 mln tonnes of rye. And the grain storage and processing enterprises stocked 12.3 mln tonnes of grains (up 15% compared with last year).
