Ukraine exported 16.4 mln tonnes of grains – N.Prysiazhniuk
Since the beginning of 2013/14 MY, and as of December 17, Ukraine already exported 16.4 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of 24% compared with the same period last year, declared Nikolai Prysiazhniuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, the exports of wheat increased by 14% compared with last year indices, barley - up almost 12%, maize – up 42%.
According to the Head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, since the beginning of the season the exports of oilseeds increased by 60%, compared with the same period of 2012/13 MY.
