Russia not to impose limitations on grain exports – N.Fedorov
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation does not plan to use in the future such market regulator as the export ban on grains, declared Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture, on December 16.
According to him, despite the demands to impose the embargo on grain exports on the basis of not very productive last year, when Russia harvested 70.9 mln tonnes of grains, the Ministry of Agriculture did not took such measures, and regulated the market prices through commodity interventions. The Ministry will continue influencing the market through grain interventions, said N.Fedorov.
