In 2013 PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine supplied more than 2 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets. Thus, the Corporation successfully realized its foreign trade plans for the reporting period, and fulfilled its obligations under the trading and credit agreements with China, declared Robert Brovdi, First Deputy Chairman of PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine, on December 30.
According to R.Brovdi, milling and feed wheat formed over 50% in the structure of grain export sales by the Corporation, maize - almost 42%, barley and soybeans - the remaining volumes. Also, the Corporation sold 14.3 thsd tonnes of wheat flour on foreign markets. Generally, in 2013 the geography of foreign trading covered 19 countries of the Middle East, East and South-East Asia, North Africa, the European Union.
According to him, 2013 was the extremely stressful for the Corporation, but effective period.
State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine successfully integrated into the highly competitive domestic market of grain trading, and entered the traditional Ukrainian foreign markets. During the first months of independent foreign trade activities the Corporation already came to the list of top grain exporters, and opened the Chinese market for Ukrainian grains.
