On January 21, 2014, Russia will continue realizing grain purchasing interventions, which were suspended for the period of the New Year holidays, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on January 13.
As a reminder, the exchange trades are usually conducted twice a week - on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Generally, since the beginning of the intervention purchases (since October 15, 2013) the Government already purchased 544.1 thsd tonnes of grains at the sum of 3.21 bln RUR.
