In 2013 the seaports of Russia reduced the volumes of grain shipment by 23.4% compared with the previous year - to 18.3 mln tonnes, announced the Association of Sea Commercial Ports of the Russian Federation on January 14.
At the same time, in 2013 there was observed an increase of mineral fertilizers shipment - up 24%, to 12.9 mln tonnes.
In 2013 the general cargo turnover at the Russian seaports increased by 3.9% compared with 2012, and totaled 589 mln tonnes.
