In the first half of 2013/14 MY companies of PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine received 2.225 mln tonnes of grains for storing, an increase of 509 thsd tonnes, or almost 23% compared with the same period of the previous season, announced Igor Jakubovich, Chairman of the Board of the Corporation, on January 22.
He also noted that in the reporting period the Odessa port terminal and Nikolayev port elevator shipped for exports 1.402 mln tonnes of grains, up 2.5 times compared with the same period of the season-2012/13.
According to the production of finished commodities, then according to I. Jakubovich, processors capacities of companies of PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine kept the same rates of mixed feed production (20 thsd tonnes), increased flour production by 5.7% (87 thsd tonnes), and doubled groats production (5.7 thsd tonnes).
