Ukraine: 92% of winter crops were in good and satisfactory condition - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
As of January 31, in Ukraine there were 92% of winter crops areas in good and satisfactory condition, declared Alexander Demidov, Head of the Department of farming agriculture of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on February 3.
In particular, 58% of winter crops areas showed good condition of wintering, 34% - satisfactory condition.
At the same time, A.Demidov noted that winter crops areas showed the worst conditions of wintering in Kharkov oblast (16% of the areas in weak and thinned condition), Zaporozhye (12%) and Kherson oblasts (11%).
