In 2014, Russia to supply 50 thsd tonnes of grains to North Korea
Under the terms of provision of humanitarian assistance, in 2004 Russia will supply 50 thsd tonnes of grains to North Korea, declared Alexander Timonin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Pyongyang, on February 7.
According to the diplomat, in 2012-2013 period Russia became one of the largest donors of the UN World Food Program in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, providing nearly 8 mln USD for food assistance to North Korea.
