Ukraine: as of February 1, grain stocks totaled 19.9 mln tonnes – State Statistics Service
As of February 1, 2013, agricultural enterprises (except of small-scale ones), and grain storage and processing enterprises in Ukraine stocked 19.9 mln tonnes of grains (including 6.1 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.6 mln tonnes of barley, 11.1 mln tonnes of maize, 0.4 mln tonnes of rye), an increase of 28% compared with the same date in 2013, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on February 14.
Directly agrarian companies stored 10.8 mln tonnes of grains (up 46%), including 3.2 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.3 mln tonnes of barley, 5.5 mln tonnes of maize, 0.1 mln tonnes of rye. And the grain storage and processing enterprises stocked 6.7 mln tonnes of grains (up 10% compared with last year).
