In 2013, Kazakhstan significantly reduced wheat and flour exports

In 2013 Kazakhstan reduced the export volumes of wheat and meslin by 32% compared with the previous year - to 5.023 mln tonnes, announced the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 14.

According to the announcement, the reduction level in monetary terms reached 21.9% - 1.235 bln USD.

Also, in 2013 there was marked some decline of Kazakh wheat and rye flour supplies on foreign markets - down 16.2% (to 1.859 mln tonnes), or down 4.3% in monetary terms - to 575 mln USD.
