Ukraine: Verkhovna Rada adopted the new Cabinet of Ministers

On February 27, 2014, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the new Cabinet of Ministers. 331 members of the parliament voted for adoption of the corresponding decree.

In particular, Arseniy Yatsenyuk became the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Vitaly Yarema - the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Andriy Deshchytsia – Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pavlo Sheremeta - Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Ihor Shvaika - Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, etc.

It should be noted that there was not proposed any candidacy for position of the Minister of Revenue and Duties of Ukraine, as it was previously announced that the Government plans to reorganize the Ministry.

Prior to his appointment to the specified position, Ihor Shvaika was the people's deputy of the Verkhovna Rada (the fraction of VO Svoboda), Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
