Ukraine to annually export 30-35 mln tonnes of grains – I.Shvaika
Ukraine can really annually export 30-35 mln tonnes of grains, declared Ihor Shvaika, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on March 6.
The qualitative indices of Ukrainian grains, effective trading work on foreign markets, and minimizing of the infrastructural costs and margins on the domestic market, should allow to agricultural producers to receive at least 80% of the world price for their grains, said the Head of the Ministry.
He also noted that the Ministry is currently preparing the list of priority initiatives required for the further effective development of domestic agriculture, including the maximum deregulation of business activity in Ukraine, creating of the comfortable environment for agricultural business, and development of the port infrastructure in order to maximize the export potential of the country.
