EU approved provision of the financial assistance to Ukraine at 11 bln EUR
On March 6, 2014, José Manuel Durão Barroso, President of the European Commission, informed that the summit of the European Union approved providing of the package of financial assistance to Ukraine at the sum of 11 bln EUR.
“I am pleased that the EU Commission €11 billion aid package for Ukraine has been welcomed by all Heads of State & Government,” said J.Barroso at his page in Twitter.
He also specified that the reporting funds will be allocated from the EU budget, and the European financial institutions.
