Ukraine exported nearly 25 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2013/14 MY, and as of March 7, 2014, Ukraine already exported 24.9 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of 36.2% compared with the same period last season, reported the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat export volumes totaled 7.44 mln tonnes (including 6.1 mln tonnes of milling wheat), barley - 2.14 mln tonnes, maize – 15.12 mln tonnes.
In addition, since the beginning of 2013/14 MY Ukraine exported 3.03 mln tonnes of oilseeds, including 2.07 mln tonnes of rapeseed and 0.96 mln tonnes of soybeans.
