OECD postponed accession of Russia to the organization
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) postponed activities related to the accession process of the Russian Federation to the OECD for the time being, declared the press-service of the organization on March 13, 2014.
According to the announcement, the Secretary General informed the Russian Federation on the accepted decision.
The OECD member-countries also agreed that the OECD should respond positively to Ukraine's request to further strengthen existing OECD-Ukraine co-operation to take advantage of the OECD's expertise to address the public policy challenges it faces.
