Russia to increase the Far East grain exports

The Russian group Far East Shipping Company (FESCO), the United Grain Company and the Japanese company Marubeni Corporation to increase exports from the Far Eastern ports, as it was declared in Memorandum on March 19, 2014.

The state project realization first of all allows for the grain shipments from the region ports to reach 100 thsd tonnes annually. Later the export volumes to grow to 5 mln tonnes annually.

In order to reach the specified rate they plan to build grain terminal in Zarubino.

The countries-importers of grain will be Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan and other countries of the South-East Asia.
