On March 21, 2014 the State Duma of Russia introduce legislation “On ratification of the Protocol of the application of Free-Trade Zone Agreement inter parties and the Republic of Uzbekistan dd. October 18, 2011”, providing the Uzbekistan joining to the Free-Trade Zone within the CIS.
The document is directed on the trade regime unification of the countries-participants of the Customs Union and Uzbekistan. The contract holders are free from the national regime obligation provision within the mutual trade until December 31, 2020 or until Uzbekistan becomes the member of the World Trade Organization (WTO)
