If Ukraine reduces the grain exports by 30-50% in the next season, the global prices to increase by nearly 2-4% owing the fundamental factors (if there are no speculations and if the other main exporters to remain production unchanged), declared the economist of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Dmitry Prikhodko on March 25, 2014.

D.Prikhodko stated the recent five years the global grain market faced the immediate reaction on the negative factors (exports limitation, political factors, the weather conditions).

He added if Ukraine to reduce the share on the global market, other countries will take its place.
