Russia: price increase for wheat flour
In the current week in Russia there is observed some increasing of wheat flour offer prices, due to significant costs rise for milling wheat purchasing prices for further processing. The average price growth totaled 200-600 RUR/t compared with the previous week.
According to APK-Inform data, in the Central Black Earth Region the offer prices for top- and 1-grade milling flour varied within the range of 12300-12800 RUR/t and 11200-11800 RUR/t EXW, respectively.
In Volgo-Vyatsk region the top- and 1-grade milling flour offer prices totaled 12700-13500 RUR/t and 12200-13700 RUR/t EXW, respectively.
In the North-West region the offer prices for top- and 1-grade flour were declared within the range of 13800-15000 RUR/t and 12800-13700 RUR/t EXW, respectively.
In the West-Siberia region flour millers fixed the prices for top- and 1-grade final products at the level of 13000-14500 RUR/t and 11000-12500 RUR/t EXW, respectively.
It is worth noting that representatives of flour milling companies informed that the consumers started actively purchasing flour volumes, worrying on the further price increase.
