Japan to increase the financial support for Ukraine to 1.5 bln USD
Japan plans to increase the financial support for Ukraine to the sum of 1.5 bln USD, declared Shinzo Abe, Prime-Minister of Japan, on March 24, 2014.
As a reminder, previously Japan decided to prepare the financial support at the level of nearly 1 bln USD.
Japanese experts considered that increasing of the financing is caused by the critics towards Japan from the USA, due to the soft sanctions imposed by Japan to Russia. Besides, the fact that Shotaro Yachi, Head of the National Security Council, was directed to Moscow for negotiations, and holding of the Russian-Japanese investment forum in Tokyo, also became the reason for development of the reporting decision.
