US Congress to provide 1 bln USD credit to Ukraine
On April 2, 2014, the US Congress supported the draft law on providing 1 bln USD credit to Ukraine, declared John Kerry, Secretary of State of the USA.
Previously, the Senate approved the stated decision. The draft law will come into force, when Barack Obama, President of the USA, signs it. At the same time, Ukraine will be provided with the financial support at the sum of 50 mln USD for fighting corruption, and holding free and justified presidential election.
Also, the draft law provides economic sanctions to punish Russia and its several citizens, connected with the violation of human rights and inviolability of the territory in Ukraine.
