Ukraine: Ministry of Agrarian Policy raised its forecast for the maximum grain exports to 34 mln tonnes
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine forecasted that in 2013/14 MY the general grain exports will total 34 mln tonnes, whereas previously the Ministry estimated the maximum volume of foreign supplies in the current season at 33 mln tonnes, declared Vitaly Sabluk, Director of the Department of economic development of the agrarian market of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, on April 3.
According to him, in the current MY the export trading with grains is expected within 32.5-34 mln tonnes. But V.Sabluk did not specify on what basis the forecast was upgraded.
