Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, charged the Federal Tariff Service, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia in two weeks to assure introduction of the tariff regulation of services of the Kerch ferry-railway crossing as the subject of the natural monopoly, declared the Government of the Russian Federation on March 31, 2014.
Also, the Ministry of Transport of Russia in partnership with JSC Russian Railways and interested organizations were charged in two weeks to introduce straight railway-ferry crossing of the territory of Russia with the Crimea.
The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia were charged to prepare and present in the established order to the Government, the propositions on the port development in Kerch as the one of the key Black Sea ports of the Russian Federation.
