Suspension of Ukrainian sugar supplies to the Crimea will not to lead to deficit of the reporting commodity in the region, declared Vladimir Konstantinov, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Crimea, on April 4, 2014.
V.Konstantinov stated that as of to date the region has the adequate stocks of sugar.
As a reminder, on April 3, 2014, Nikolai Yarchuk, Chairman of the National Association of Sugar Producers Ukrtsukor, declared about the cessation of Ukrainian sugar supplies to the Crimea due to the unclear current situation around the region.
