According to the analysis of the major types of agricultural commodities provision, in 2011-2013 the domestic production share in the domestic consumption exceeded 80%, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
In particular, the share of prepared rice, red beet, wheat flour and bread totaled over 100%. Provision of beef, pork, mutton and horse beef exceeded 90%.
The Ministry informed that in 2013 the production value totaled 973 bln tenge, up 4.2% compared to the same rate of 2012. At the same time, the apples, horticultural crops, poultry meat, sausage products, sweet butter, cheese and cottage-cheese, fish share is still at the low level. Production of the stated products is strategic under the state support and regulation.
In order to solve the problem of the raw-material lack for milk-processing enterprises, there will be investment grands for foundation of over 200 procurement centers for milk collection in the private subsidiary farming, within the program Agrobusiness-2020. The Government plans to allocate funds at the amount of 563 mln tenge until 2020.
