Ukraine: legislation on plant protection to be improved soon
The legislation of Ukraine on the plant protection will be improved in the nearest future, declared Andriy Dykun, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The one of the issues in the sphere is business climate relaxation and the plant protecting agents market deregulation in Ukraine.
The Deputy Minister stated the issuance of licenses for chemical plant protecting agents, excludes the imports of such preparations which failed the public tests and registration, with questionable qualitative indices or adulterated. Also, it forms the opportunity to improve methods of the market participants cooperation, provide effective control of their activity, promote increasing of the agricultural production capacity.
According to the Law “On plant protection”, the state phytosanitary inspectors regulate storing, transportation, usage and trading of plant protecting agents on the domestic market.
