According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, agrarians of the country planted spring grains throughout the areas of 99.4 thsd ha, up 13.6 thsd ha compared with the same date in 2013. In particular, Kyrgyzstan planted wheat throughout 28.1 thsd ha, and barley - 71.3 thsd ha, declared the officials on April 11.
Also, Kyrgyzstan imported more than 64 thsd tonnes of mineral fertilizers. The general demand of agricultural producers in nitrogen fertilizers totals 200 thsd tonnes, phosphate fertilizers - 129 thsd tonnes, potash fertilizers - 11.7 thsd tonnes.
