Since the beginning of 2013/14 MY, and as of April 16, 2014, Ukraine already exported 28.556 mln tonnes of grains, including 8 mln tonnes of wheat, 18.083 mln tonnes of maize, and 2.154 mln tonnes of barley, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of reporting date, the port elevators stored 1.245 mln tonnes of grains (433 thsd tonnes of wheat, 114 thsd tonnes of barley, 693 thsd tonnes of maize), loaded onto vessels – 212 thsd tonnes of grains.
Thus, the volumes of grains, exported and prepared for exports, totaled 30 mln tonnes (8.5 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.3 mln tonnes of barley, 18.8 mln tonnes of maize).
