According to the official statistics data, during 8 months of 2013/14 MY (August-March) Russia exported 160.8 thsd tonnes of rapeseed, which became the highest index during 15 recent seasons. In particular, during the whole 2012/13 MY export volumes of the Russian oilseed totaled 27.1 thsd tonnes only.
In the current season, Turkey (37% of the general exports), Spain (11%), Iran (8%) and Switzerland (7%) demonstrated the greatest demand among all 17 countries, which purchased Russian rapeseed.
In the season-2012/13 only 5 countries imported Russian rapeseed: Denmark (35%), Turkey (25%), Latvia (23%), Germany (15%) and Estonia (2%).
