Crimea to lose nearly 120 thsd ha of the irrigable crops
The Crimea will lose nearly 120 thsd ha of the irrigable crops due to the water supply problems. In money terms the losses to reach 5 bln RUB, declared the Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, Nikolay Fedorov on April 24, 2014.
N.Fedorov stated the Government will partly provide the financial support in order to set off eventual losses.
The Minister mentioned that Russia proposed Ukraine to sign the agreement on the water payment in advance, but the Ukrainian government has mentioned nothing on the issue yet.
