On April 25, 2014 the Minister of Agriculture, Nikolay Fyodorov appealed not to politicize the eventual import ban on the EU commodities, imposed by Russia.
The Minister stated if there is ban on the European and USA commodities imports to Russia, the consumers will not face some changes.
N.Fyodorov mentioned that there is a number of the countries, willing to be the major in the commodities' supplies alternatively to Poland and Lithuania.
The Minister added that Russia always has the alternative suppliers of the eventual deficit commodities (Australia, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay).
