Ukraine exported over 29 mln tonnes of grains
As of April 28, 2014 Ukraine had exported 29.35 mln tonnes of grain, including 8,34 mln tonnes of wheat, 18.43 mln tonnes of maize, 2.26 mln tonnes of barley and 328 thsd tonnes of the other grain crops, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
At the same time, by the reported date there were 1.17 mln tonnes of grain (445 thsd tonnes of whaet, 49 thsd tonnes of barley and 667 thsd tonnes of maize) at the portside elevators, the shipped ones – 98 thsd tonnes.
Thus, by April 28, 2014 the exported and prepared for export grain crops volume had totaled 30.7 mln tonnes (8.8 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.3 mln tonnes of barley, 19.2 mln tonnes of maize).
