Russia: GDP March growth totaled 0.9%
In March, 2014, in Russia the GDP (excluding the seasonal and calendar factors) increased by 0.1% as opposed to the rate of the previous month, declared the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia on April 29, 2014.
At the same time, the Ministry reviewed the GDP annual dynamic for January and February, increasing its value to 0.7% and 0.9% respectively.
In the first quarter of 2014, the stated rate decreased by 0.5% as opposed to the rate of the fourth quarter of 2013. At the same time, the rate faced a decrease for the first time after an increase during the three quarters.
The Ministry mentioned that the industrial production dynamics and the retail trade growth acceleration positively influence on the economic development. At the same time the investment, gas and transport exports decrease negatively influence on the stated issue.
