Ukraine to standardize domestic products with the EU standards
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine provided two draft laws to the Parliament, which will assist to domestic agricultural producers to bring their quality specifications to the requirements of the European Union, declared Pavlo Sheremeta, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, on April 24.
According to him, one of the draft laws deals with standardization of products, the other - weights and measures, and metrological service.
The Minister reminded that the regime of autonomous trade preferences entered into force on April 23, 2014, and will act until November 1, 2014.
P.Sheremeta stressed that the volume of tariff quotas for Ukraine is annual, and their volume will not reduce, despite the fact that the action of trade preferences is calculated for six months only.
