Russia: agricultural production growth to total 2-2.5%

In 2014 the Government of Russia forecasts the agricultural production growth at the level of 2-2.5%.

In the current year the complicated macro-economic situation caused by the foreign economic factors and the RUB fluctuation, influenced on the agro-industrial complex's development. The stated issue strengthens the risk probability for the stable and dynamic development of the agrarian sector of economics.

In 2014 there will be grain production increase of 4.1% (to 95 mln tonnes). Thus grain exports to reach the level of 22 mln tonnes (as opposed to 19 mln tonnes in 2013). The specific gravity of the domestic commodities will total 98.9% (with the threshold rate of 95%) of grain resources, including the carryover stocks.

The sun oil production will total 4.2 mln tonnes, which allows to satisfy the domestic demand and export nearly 1.9 mln tonnes.
