Ukrainian government to cancel the VAT privileges for agrarians
The International Monetary Fund plans to recommend the Government of Ukraine to cancel the VAT privileges for agrarians and provide them with the standard tax regime.
It is to be proposed in the end of September within the regular Ukrainian economics evaluation, since the end of May, 2014.
Previously, the IMF stated the VAT privileges cancellation for grain exporters allows to accumulate in the budget nearly 0.3% of GDP. At the same time, in April, the Head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Igor Schwayka mentioned that in 2015 in the Ukrainian state budget there will be kept the regime of the VAT special taxation for agrarians.
Meanwhile, according to the data of the Agrarian Associations if the Government introduces the tax privileges' cancellation for agrarians, the last ones will incur losses at the amount of 19 bln UAH.
