Ukraine: selling prices of agricultural commodities decreased by 5.5% - State Statistics Service
In January-March of 2014 in Ukraine the average selling prices of agricultural enterprises (except of small ones) for agricultural commodities decreased by 5.5% compared with the same period in 2013, declared the press-service of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on April 15.
In particular, according to the State Statistics Service, in the reporting period the average prices for commodities of the plant growing industry lowered by 14.4% compared with 2013, the prices for livestock commodities - up 3.2%.
In March 2014, the average selling prices for agricultural products grew by 10.9% compared with the previous month, in particular for plant growing commodities – up 15.4%, for livestock commodities - down 0.4%.
