Grain Forum –2014 to start in Odessa on June 16
APK-Inform Agency continues preparation works for the thirteenth international conference "Grain Forum - 2014: new markets, challenges and opportunities", to be held on June 16-18, 2014, in Odessa (hotel "Bristol").
Development trends of the grain market in 2014/15 MY, and Ukrainian grain and by-products market: new season challenges, are the key themes of the conference event in the current year.
The list of speakers on the reporting themes includes Natalia Merkusheva, Economist of the FAO; Matt Ammermann, Commodity risk management consultant on Eastern Europe/Black Sea at INTL FCStone; Vladimir Klimenko, President of Ukrainian Grain Association; Mariusz Markisz, Member of the Board of UNEX Sp. Z O.O. (Poland); Rodion Rybchinskiy, Head of Business Projects Division of APK-Inform Agency; Sergyi Sakirkin, Director of the grain processing department of PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine; Evgenia Novichkova, Senior Associate at CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz TOV; and other experts.
Taking into account the current situation on the Ukrainian grain market, the program focuses on the theme of the infrastructure of Ukrainian grain market and the new environment, which the market is forced to work in. The topic is discussed in the specialized session on the second day of the event.
In addition, the Forum program includes two roundtable discussions on the following topics: “Grain cargo logistics: results of 2013/14 MY, prospects for 2014/15 MY” (under support of Ukrainian Grain Association), and “Improving the effectiveness of agribusiness in the heightened risk conditions”(Organizational partner – Kyiv Mohyla Business School [kmbs]).
