The Government of Russia decided not to build the Taman port, declared the Prime-Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, on May 14, 2014.
D.Medvedev stated if there is money for the stated project, the Government will renew it.
The Prime-Minister mentioned that the project was created before the Crimea annexation by Russia. Thus, to date Russia has the sufficient number of deep-water ports in the Black Sea region.
At the same time, D.Medvedev added that the reason of the stated issue is not the lack of funds on the Crimean development.
