As of May 8, 2014, the carry-over stocks of grains and oilseeds at storehouses and terminals in Ukraine totaled 6.774 mln tonnes, or 20% of the general certified storage capacities, declared the State Inspectorate of Agriculture of Ukraine on May 14.
According to the announcement, as of the reporting date grain shipment complexes stocked 1.049 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds.
According to the State Enterprise "State registries of Ukraine", the register includes 781 certified granaries with the nameplate capacity of 33.434 mln tonnes. In particular, the stocks of milling wheat totaled 1.973 mln tonnes.
