Russia to export nearly 1.35 mln tonnes of grains in May
In May, 2014 Russia will export nearly 1.35 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Deputy Director of Strategic Marketing Department of Rusagrotrans, Igor Panevskiy.
I.Panevkiy stated in the period of May 1-6, 2014 Russia exported 373 thsd tonnes of grains, including 278.2 thsd tonnes of wheat, 2.7 thsd tonnes of barley and 89.6 thsd tonnes of maize.
At the same time, in May, 2014 the share of grain shipments from Novorossisk and Tuapse will total 43%, down 8.2% compared to the same rate of April of the current year.
I.Panevskiy added that in June, 2014 the grain exports will reach the level of 1 mln tonnes.
