Russia increased grain exports by 60%
In the period of July 1 – May 14, 2014 Russia exported 23.71 mln tonnes of grain, up 60.3% compared to the rate of the same period of 2013 (14.79 mln tonnes).
In particular, wheat exports reached 17.3 mln tonnes, barley – 2.39 mln tonnes, maize – 3.72 mln tonnes and other grain crops – 296 yjsd tonnes.
In the period of May 1-14, 2014 the Russian grain exports totaled 736 thsd tonnes, including wheat – 469 thsd tonnes, maize – 230 thsd tonnes, barley -28 thsd tonnes and other crops – 9 thsd tonnes.
