In the period of January-April, 2014 the rate of inflation in the Custom Union totaled 3.5%, in April, 2014 — 1.8%, declared the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Year-on-year the inflation rate in the CU reached 7.8%, in Belarus – 17.2%, in Kazakhstan – 6.5% and in Russia – 7.3%.
In April, 2014 the consumer prices indexes' growth exceeded the same rates of December, 2013. In the stated month in Belarus there was the prices increase of 16% and 38.2% for the food commodities and commercial services respectively. At the same time, in Kazakhstan the prices growth for commodities and services totaled 63.-7%. Meanwhile, in Russia the prices for food commodities rose by 9%, non-food ones – by 4.9%, commercial services – by 8.5%.
