Ukraine: agrarian sector state support is lower of the EU one
The state support of the agrarian sector in Ukraine is 10 times lower compared to the European Union one, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Igor Schwayka on May 20, 2014.
I.Schwayka stated in the EU the financial support of agrarians totals nearly 450 EUR/ha. Meanwhile, in Ukraine the stated rate is at the level of nearly 800 UAH/ha.
The Minister added that after the state budget sequestering, the Government continues to refund compensations (50%) on dairy and meat products, sold by the agricultural producers.
