Since the beginning of 2013/14 MY (July 1), and as of May 21, 2014, Ukraine already exported 30.88 mln tonnes of grains, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat exports volumes totaled 8.865 mln tonnes, maize - 19.368 mln tonnes, barley - 2.297 mln tonnes, other grains - 0.35 mln tonnes.
In addition, as of the reporting date the port elevators stocked 866 thsd tonnes of grain crops, including 365 thsd tonnes of wheat, 60 thsd tonnes of barley, 426 thsd tonnes of maize. Grain stocks at the vessels reached 314 thsd tonnes.
Thus, as of May 21, the general volume of exported grains and the stocks prepared for exports reached 32 mln tonnes, added the Ministry.
